6. Where did “pair” come from?
You need a website and a web host to foster your ideas, build your business, and share your passion with the world. So did we. What started as a passion project – building a website about pinball – became the original Pittsburgh tech company. Founded in 1995 by Kevin Martin, a pinball enthusiast who couldn’t find a web host he liked, pair Networks has been around longer than Google. Kevin named the company pair because it took a team of two to get it off the ground.
