meet the team: charlie, customer support technician at pair
Meet our Customer Support Technician, Charlie! Charlie joined the pair team 11 years ago and has been providing excellent customer support ever since.

Q: What’s one thing you want people to know about you or your role at pair?

A: I will provide the best support to my knowledge with professionalism, honesty and patience to all customers. During my calls, I try to give more of a personal experience to make the call enjoyable. My personal goal is to resolve any question or issue during the course of the phone call/email so the customer will be satisfied in the end.

Q: What is a typical day at pair like for you?

A: Greeting staff in the morning is the start of my typical day. I prepare for the day by first checking internal emails and announcements by staff while having a cup of coffee or tea, and then I log into the phones and assist customers. While between phone calls, I assist customers by email.

Q: Where are you from?

A: I am originally from Boca Raton, Florida. I moved to Pittsburgh after completing college.

Q: Where did you go to school?

A: Saint Vincent College in Latrobe, PA. Earned a BS degree in Computer Science

Q: What’s your secret talent or skill?

A: Patience

Q: What was the last book you read?

A: The Purpose Driven Life by Rick Warren

Q: What’s the coolest thing about your job?

A: Interacting with customers from all around the world. Some customers share interesting jokes or stories of their personal lives.

Q: What’s the nerdiest thing you do in your free time?

A: Playing video games with my geeky nerdy wife!

Q: Do you have any hobbies? If so, what are they?

A: Cross country running, building computers, traveling, camping.

Q: Where did you travel/vacation to most recently?

A: Las Vegas. Hint: there is much more to this town than casinos 😉

Q: What’s the coolest thing you’re working on right now?

A: Work related, I am heading a new project for the upcoming service Launch Assistant as well as offering my voice for pair videos.

Not work related, home improvement with refinishing my basement (e.g. man cave).
