Over the next several months the Internet Corporation for Assigned Names and Numbers (ICANN), a nonprofit organization responsible for the coordination of the global Internet’s systems of unique identifiers, will be making some changes that will require pairNIC (and all other Domain Name Registrars) to modify a few things that may affect you in the future. These changes will be enforced by ICANN and required by all registrars.
To give you an idea of what to expect, a few examples include changes to your Whois data, validation of your Domain Name contact information, and a few other minor adjustments along the way.
While the details are still unfolding, we the good folks at pairNIC will do our best to keep you informed and work with you to make any transition smooth and seamless.
Stay tuned for future posts and more details on the changes, what you can expect, and how to best prepare.
